The information provided was valuable in helping clinicians articulate the problems faced in counseling clients who have been harmed because of race or culture. Dr. Delapp shared a lot of information in a short space of time but did it beautifully. Dr. Sanderson provided some new information about CBT in addition to strategies that I learned a while ago. Sanderson, PhD is exceptionally knowledgeable in applying CBT for depression. He clearly explained how effective cognitive reappraisal work takes time and patience—with both the client and ourselves—but leads to better and more lasting outcomes. He explained each slide beautifully and eloquently and was very generous in sharing additional personal materials beyond the presentation. I truly hope Nachas Consulting offers a more in-depth workshop in the future.
