An Overview of Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy
Description
This course is a brief overview of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model presented via zoom. It outlines and describes the essential concepts of the IFS model; a protective system of parts with positive intentions which can become burdened and blend with (block or obscure) a healing Self. Working with parts to unblend and enter into a healing relationship with the Self enables clients to unburden their wounded parts.
These concepts will be described and explained in a PowerPoint lecture and illustrated by live demonstrations with student volunteers.
