Comprehensive Cognitive Behavioral Insomnia Therapy (CBT-I)
Description
Insomnia rarely occurs in isolation—and neither should its treatment. Transform your clinical practice with an immersive 2-day clinical workshop designed to give you the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to deliver Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), the gold-standard treatment for chronic insomnia, across a wide range of complex clinical presentations. On Day 1, you’ll build a strong foundation in comprehensive CBT-I, mastering the evidence-based assessment and treatment strategies that consistently improve sleep even in comorbid cases. On Day 2, you’ll move beyond the basics and learn how to successfully implement CBT-I with clients whose insomnia co-occurs with anxiety, trauma, nightmares, depression and chronic pain.
Learn how to help clients not only sleep better but also function better. You’ll gain practical strategies to help individuals increase daytime energy, achieve deeper, more restorative sleep, and return to sleep after awakenings, irrespective of cause (e.g., hot flashes, panic attacks, nightmares, pain, babies). You’ll learn to integrate CBT-I seamlessly into existing treatment plans for comorbid mental and physical health conditions. Designed for immediate clinical application, this highly interactive workshop features real-world case studies, treatment demonstrations, sleep log interpretation, guided discussion, and reproducible clinical resources you can begin using immediately. Whether you are new to CBT-I or looking to expand your expertise with more complex cases, you’ll leave equipped with a comprehensive treatment framework and practical tools that will enhance your effectiveness and improve outcomes for the clients who need it most.
